Boogie on Reggae Woman...

was unfortunately not heard at the Stevie Wonder concert I went to Wednesday night. I was so disappointed I wasn't able to hear my at-bat song live! But I did get to hear the rest of Stevie's number one songs...Part-Time Lover, Sir Duke, Uptight, Higher Ground, Signed, Sealed Delivered...the list goes on.

The concert was at the new Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, which was super nice, and not because it's a lot closer to home than Lakewood and Chastain. I just have to comment about the fluidity of the parking. We didn't have any stressful traffic, like Lakewood. Kudos to Verizon Wireless...you guys have great reception.

Stevie was diva-ish late, but apparently he was hanging out with an terminally-ill cancer patient, so it was hard not to be mad at him. The show was okay, but his music totally makes up for his performance so I wasn't upset. I don't know if I would go see him again, but I'm just glad I got to see him in my lifetime.

Beau Alexander Paton

The other weekend I made a trip up to Minneapolis, MN to be with my future football player and to bring him into the Catholic Church with his baptism. First of all, before I arrived, my dad had kept calling Beau (supposed to be pronounced bow as in a bow tie) Biew as in "view" but with a "b." Anyways, poor Beau is already starting to get made fun of for his name, even the priest called him "Biew."

Every month we have started our girls night out at new restaurants in the ATL. This month: Watershed in Decatur. Laidback atmosphere with Raid the Cellar Monday nights (half price bottles of wine). Definitely picked up a Spanish Temperanillo and split it with Maggie. It was so good that rain from Spain! Had Pimento cheese with celery for an appetizer and Tomato soup before my pork chops with macaroni and cheese dinner. I wish I had taken a picture of this delicious meal, but I guess I was too busy drinking wine, eating and chatting with friends. I definitely recommend this place. Apparently on Tuesday nights they serve their famous fried chicken...
